(Photo by Will Steward)Never in a million years did I think I would actually have an “update” to a post I had written back in July of 2012 I cheekily titledPaper or Plastic **the back story**I’m sorry, this might offend but there is just something about picking up a dogged eared book and getting so totally lost in its pages that when the story is done you are itching for more.
My love for books has been something that my parents nurtured and cultivated my entire life. I remember staring up at bookshelves overflowing with paperbacks, hardcovers and stacks upon stacks of magazines.
Boring books with no pictures.
Books filled with strange pictures.
Small books, large books.
Books that smelled musty and brand new books that creaked when you opened them.
*happy sigh*
Maybe that explains the ferocious appetite I have…

  1. Book lover here too! I grew up in the library reading everything I could get my hands on. While I love the feel of a book I like the convenience of digital books. Plus they don’t take up as much space. Even though I never go back to read a book, I have a hard time letting it go after I purchased it…so digital helps, a lot – though I still have over 200 books in boxes!
